Winkler Elementary School recently received financial support for one of its programs from Farm Credit Canada. Shaun Roulette, Senior Relationship Manager from FCC presented a cheque for $500.00 to Barb Neufeld, Principal of Winkler Elementary School, for the school’s Breakfast Program.
As a way to launch the annual FCC Drive Away Hunger Campaign, Farm Credit Canada is making donations to local schools to support their breakfast programs. In addition, on October 5th, Winkler Youth will be going door to door to collect non-perishable food items for the local Food Cupboard.
The WES Breakfast Club has been running successfully for over 5 years now. Across the country, FCC and its community partners have collected over 27 million meals for those relying on Canadian food banks.
