On Monday, September 21, 2020 Manitoba Education released a document providing further guidance on mask wearing. Following Public Health advice, the province continues to mandate the use of masks for students in grades 4 to 12, all school staff and visitors when physical distancing of two metres is not possible.

The start of another school year is fast approaching, and we look forward to welcoming our staff and students back to school. With the unique challenges of COVID-19 we know this school year will look and feel different in many ways. As a school division, in following public health guidelines and directives from Manitoba Education, we are working to strike a balance between an abundance of caution and still provide enriching learning experiences for our students.

On Wednesday, August 19, 2020 Premier Brian Pallister announced the province is now mandating the use of masks for grades 4 to 12 students when physical distancing of two metres is not possible at school. Masks will be required for students in grades 4 to 12, teachers, school staff, bus drivers, and visitors when physical distancing of two metres is not possible.
