Att: Parents/Guardians of Garden Valley School Division Students
Late Friday afternoon, March 13, 2020, Manitoba school divisions received information from the Minister of Education which announced that Kindergarten to Grade 12 classes will be suspended in schools effective March 23, 2020 – April 10, 2020.
Suspending in-class learning is a response to slow the spread of COVID-19 through our schools and community.
Please note that effective for the period of March 23 to April 10 all schools, including the school division office, will be closed to the public. Office staff will still be available to provide assistance as needed, but individuals are asked to make contact by phone or e-mail. These measures are in place to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus and protect our community and staff.
It is important to be aware of, and self-monitor for, the symptoms of COVID-19. Please keep current with the most recent information from Manitoba Health through their website http://www.manitoba.ca/covid19/.
