1. Border Valley Administration Unit Presentation
• Principal Renae Hildebrand along with teachers Patrick Derksen, Corinne Peters and Marty Siemens presented on PLCs and RTI in the Border Valley unit. 

1.  Winkler Elementary School Presentation
• Principal Barb Neufeld, joined by Vice Principal Cindy Hamilton and staff members Bill Prazak, Alwin Friesen, Rebecca Rach, Louise Fultz, Madhura Animalla, and Brook McGillivary provided an overview of Professional Learning Communities (PLC’s) and Response to Intervention (RTI) at Winkler Elementary School.

1. School Board Elections
• School board elections will take place on October 24, 2018. Nomination papers are now available and may be returned to the Garden Valley School Division offices until September 18, 2018.

1.  JR Walkof School Presentation
• JR Walkof staff members Jamie Dyck and Cecilia Gil were joined by a group of grade 4 students who provided trustees with a wonderful demonstration of musical skills developed as part of the music program at JR Walkof School.
