Garden Valley School Division is dedicated to supporting positive mental health and wellness for students and families. In times of uncertainty, such as the current COVID-19 pandemic, families are all experiencing new degrees of anxiety and stress. It is essential that parents and students feel supported during difficult times, and that they are able to maintain positive connections and reach out if they have questions or needs. Below is some helpful information regarding mental health and wellness supports and resources that are available to students and families.

 

support 80x60Pathways Drop-in Counselling Program - drop-in counselling is available for ages 16 and up, every Monday from 9:30am to 2:30pm at the ALG Professional Centre. Phone 204-325-0946 or walk in.

 

support 80x60Wellness Support Line - a confidential phone number anyone can call to speak with a Mental Health Clinician. Mental Health Clinicians are ready to listen, support and refer you to local resources to help you during this difficult time. Phone 204-325-6585 - 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
