Garden Valley School Division's Technology Integration Plan (TIP) represents the division's collaborative thinking about the infusion of technology across the curriculum and also future technology directions. The Technology Integration Plan is a 5-year plan, and technology-related decisions and initiatives in GVSD are guided by this plan. This plan is the result of work done by the Technology Leadership Committee for Garden Valley School Division. This committee consists of the principals from each unit in the division, the Curriculum Coordinator, the IT Supervisor, and the Assistant Superintendent of Programs and Curriculum. The group's mandate was to develop the second phase of the Technology Integration Plan. 3. that students are naturally curious and inquisitive, that teachers are important in enhancing this curiosity and inquisitiveness through creative and design-oriented learning,
4. that technology is a tool that teachers can use to extend curiosity and inquisitiveness and allow students other means to create artifacts of their learning,
5. that early, middle and senior years will have differing emphasis on technology,
6. that our students come with a wide range of capabilities, attitudes toward technology, and background experiences but it is our responsibility to provide access to technology to all students as part of their learning
