The Garden Valley School Division Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Cindy Hamilton to the position of Assistant Superintendent of Student Services effective July 15, 2024.
Ms. Hamilton has 25 years of experience in GVSD, including 9 years in a school leadership position and 8 years in student services. She has held a variety of roles including as a classroom teacher, guidance teacher, resource teacher, vice-principal, and principal.
Ms. Hamilton has a Bachelor of Education, a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Education and holds a School Administrator’s Certificate.
Ms. Hamilton believes relationships are imperative to student success. Feeling accepted and supported is crucial for students and their readiness to learn.
