Garden Valley School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Nathan Friesen as Principal of the Border Valley Unit (Border Valley School/Blumenfeld School).
Nathan brings 15 years of experience in education as a teacher and leader, 14 of which have been in GVSD at Parkland Elementary School and Winkler Elementary School. He is currently the Principal of Oaks of Righteousness School in Chihuahua, Mexico. Nathan values the power of meaningful relationships and collaboration, extending beyond students and staff to the entire community. He believes that true partnership is key to fostering student success. As a servant leader, Nathan is committed to supporting and empowering those around him, creating an environment where learning thrives.
