The Culinary Arts program provides students with hands-on experience in commercial cooking and baking, building essential skills for careers in the food service industry. Career opportunities include restaurants, hotels, conference centres, and food styling.
The Culinary Arts program is accredited by Apprenticeship Manitoba. Students who achieve an overall average of 70% or higher across all eight credits may receive recognition for Level 1 in-class technical training in the Cook trade.
Students can also earn apprenticeship hours through the High School Apprenticeship Program (HSAP), with work experience available during evenings, weekends, or school breaks.
Students interested in the Culinary Arts program are encouraged to visit the RRTVA website for more information.
