The day at Prairie Dale School starts off on the right foot as students come in from the cold and enjoy a light breakfast, thanks to the “Toast Masters.” This group, made up of several staff members, supports the school’s nutrition program. In addition to toast, students can enjoy a variety of healthy foods during “Fruit Fridays.”
Throughout the school, it’s clear that wellness is a priority. The school offers ample support for students' physical and mental well-being, from regulation rooms to extra support spaces designed to help students thrive.
Character education is also at the heart of Prairie Dale’s approach. A range of programs and clubs help nurture personal development, including Roots of Empathy, Thrival Kits, friendship groups, Lego Club, the Yearbook Committee, and more. Students can also get involved in activities such as Volunteer Choir, Skating, Intramurals, Board Games Club, Gamers Club, Tackleworks, Woodworking Club, or working in The Hive (canteen).
Whether it’s raising money for a toy drive, participating in Spirit Week, or making fishing tackle, there is something for everyone at Prairie Dale School.
