GVSD students are provided with a GVSD email address and password. If you don't know your email address and password, please ask your school office for assistance. Your GVSD email address will be in the following format:

student#@edu.gvsd.ca

Your GVSD student account can be used to access student computers, as well as to log in to your GVSD Microsoft account to use applications like Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others. Click the link below to log in to your GVSD Microsoft account.

Saving Files for Access at School and at Home

Through portal.office.com, each student at GVSD has access to their own OneDrive account. When using a computer at school, you should save all of your documents to OneDrive. This is a safe location to store all of your school documents (assignments, projects, images, and more). Saving to OneDrive allows you to conveniently access your school documents from different locations and devices as long as you have Internet access. Remember to use OneDrive only for schoolwork.

How to Install Microsoft Office at Home

1. Log in to your Microsoft office account using the above link.
2. Near the top right, click "Install Apps" and choose "Microsoft 365 apps"
3. You may be asked if you want to "allow my organization to manage my device". If so, do not choose that option. Instead, choose "this app only". Doing so ensures that you only install Microsoft applications.
